What customers say

Customers write about spring AC visits, furnace repairs, duct cleaning and humidifier installs.

“Joshua arrived on time, and did a VERY thorough job of completing my spring service of AC. He recognized the fact my furnace filter should not have so much dirt, considering the fact that it was only 22 days old. My last did NOT do a good job.”
Larry M.
“My service technician, Jean, was fantastic. He explained everything clearly. He even noticed that one of my air vents was closed when it should have been open. He is a great asset for Comfort Solutions!”
Eileen M.
“About 10 days ago Jean came for a regular spring checkup. He is punctual, knowledgeable, and friendly. Very efficient, would recommend. Thank you.”
Linda M.
“Wonderful service, professional, kind, and responsive! We have used a different company for 20 years, but will certainly be using Comfort Solutions from here out.”
Nikole L.
“I have my ducts cleaned and also had my a/c maintenance. The guys were all professional and personable. I highly recommend it. Josh, also told me about other services they offer.”
Teresa I.
“My furnace had quit working and Scott from Comfort Solutions came out and was able to quickly diagnose and help me resolve the issue immediately. I also had a Google Nest Thermostat installed by Comfort Solutions and it has been a lifesaver! Great family-owned local business! Thank you!”

All questions
How often should my furnace and air conditioner be serviced?

Once a year for each is the usual guidance: the AC in spring and the furnace in fall. Our maintenance plans follow that schedule, with a spring AC visit and a fall furnace visit. We offer 1, 2 and 3 year plans.

Is it better to repair or replace an old furnace or AC unit?

A repair usually makes sense when the system is fairly young and the problem is a single part. Replacement is worth a look when the unit is old, breaks down repeatedly or struggles to keep the house comfortable. We will explain what we find so you can decide, and we can also tell you if an upgrade is likely to be needed soon so you can plan for it.

Is a heat pump a good fit for a home in this climate?

Heat pumps can heat and cool a home in southwest Ohio, and many homeowners use them for both. On the coldest days some systems rely on backup heat, so the right setup depends on your house and ductwork. Call us and we will go over your home and your options.

Why is my AC running but not cooling the house?

Start with the basics: a dirty filter, closed vents or a dirty outdoor unit can all cut cooling. If you see ice on the indoor coil or lines, turn the system off so it can thaw. If the house still does not cool, call us. We repair all brands and models of central air systems.

What can help with dust, allergies or humidity in my home?

Regular filter changes are the first step, and clean ducts help keep dust from circulating. In dry winter months a humidifier adds moisture to the air. We install humidifiers and clean ducts, so we can look at what fits your home.

Do you work on both homes and businesses?

Yes. We serve residential customers and also work on light commercial and multi-family buildings. Gary managed both commercial and residential units before he bought the company in 2005.
