Once a year for each is the usual guidance: the AC in spring and the furnace in fall. Our maintenance plans follow that schedule, with a spring AC visit and a fall furnace visit. We offer 1, 2 and 3 year plans. Is it better to repair or replace an old furnace or AC unit? A repair usually makes sense when the system is fairly young and the problem is a single part. Replacement is worth a look when the unit is old, breaks down repeatedly or struggles to keep the house comfortable. We will explain what we find so you can decide, and we can also tell you if an upgrade is likely to be needed soon so you can plan for it. Is a heat pump a good fit for a home in this climate? Heat pumps can heat and cool a home in southwest Ohio, and many homeowners use them for both.
